André Ramseyer (January 31, 1914 in Tramelan – January 15, 2007 in Neuchâtel) was a Swiss sculptor, who lived in Neuchâtel. He had been working in Neuchâtel since 1942, after working in l'Ecole d'art à La Chaux-de-Fonds between 1932 and 1935, and staying in Paris (between 1935 and 1936) and Italy for a few short periods of time. In Neuchâtel, he taught Art and the History of Art until 1956. He returned to Paris in 1949, but went back to Neuchâtel later that year. He stopped working in the 1990s, although he kept the key to his studio in his pocket until the day he died.
He was heavily influenced by Henry Moore. His sculptures can be seen in many public spaces, mostly in Switzerland.

Paul Wunderlich (10 March 1927 in Eberswalde – 6 June 2010 in Saint-Pierre-de-Vassols) was a German painter, sculptor and graphic artist. He designed Surrealist paintings and erotic sculptures. He often created paintings which referenced mythological legends.Wunderlich was the second child of Horst and Gertrude (née Arendt) Wunderlich. After a time as Flakhelfer and a prisoners of war, he moved to his mother in Eutin, graduated from the Johann Heinrich Voss Gymnasium and then visited the Palace School of Art in the Orangery of Eutin castle. In 1947 he became a student at the Landeskunstschule in Hamburg, where he was in the class Free Graphics of William Tietze. His classmates have included Horst Janssen and Reinhard Drenkhahn. After a hiatus, he began studying again in 1950 with Willem Grimm and graduated in 1951. He then worked as a lecturer at the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg, teaching lithography and etching. Also in 1951 he printed for Emil Nolde («The King and his men», etching) and in 1952 for Oskar Kokoschka, the graphics suite «Ann Eliza Reed» of eleven lithographs. With the earnings he spent three months in Ibiza. In 1955 he received a scholarship from the Cultural Committee of German Industry .After an early, essentially realistic creative period from around 1959, he developed his characteristic style. His early works show dismembered body, disproportioned in front of an empty background. In the 1960s he was influenced by art movements such as Art Deco and Art Nouveau.In 1960 cycle of lithographs «qui s'explique» was seized by the Hamburg prosecutor for indecent depictions. Wunderlich received the 1961 Prize of the Youth for graphics.

My art refers to surrealism, in a broad sense, Broad, because I have excluded typical surrealistic landscape and reached to the simplified image, to the form of the poster. Unraveling leading ideas in my paintings allows me to communicate freely with recipients and to guide them trough symbolic reality of my art.

Poul Anker Bech (13 April 1942 – 7 October 2009) was a Danish painter.
He started painting in the 1960s and studied at The Jutland Academy of Art in Aarhus, 1966–67. He quit his job in 1988 to become a full-time painter.
Poul Anker Bech painted everyday landscapes and situations, from an unusual point of view. His motives often contain ironic or surrealistic elements.
He himself has said that he would like his paintings to easily be remembered, without needing to understand their meaning.On 27 August 2003 a Danish 19-krone stamp was published using one of Poul Anker Bech's paintings, Det forjættede land (the promised land). He was the recipient of a lifetime stipendium from the Danish government's Art Fund, as well as several prizes.Poul Anker Bech was a member of the Corner artist group.

Paul Feiler (30 April 1918 – 8 July 2013)was a German-born artist who was a prominent member of the St Ives School of art: he has pictures hanging in major art galleries across the world.Paul Feiler was born in 1918 in Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany into a cultivated family of lawyers, doctors and liberal politicians; his father was a professor of dentistry. He was educated in Zwolle in the Netherlands and then at Canford School in Dorset, England.His parents in 1936 moved to London: his father established himself as a dentist in Harley Street. Paul studied at the Slade School of Fine Art in London 1936-1939 with artists such as Patrick Heron, Bryan Wynter and Kenneth Armitage. As an enemy alien in 1939, although thoroughly anglicised, he was interned on the Isle of Man and then in Canada. On his return to England in 1941, he was an arts teacher at Eastbourne College, which had been evacuated to Radley College in Oxford.After World War II, he taught art at the West of England College of Art in Bristol: he became the head of painting there in 1960. In 1975 he moved to the disused chapel in Kerris near Newlyn in Cornwall where he would live until his death.

Henry Munyaradzi was a Zimbabwean sculptor. The sculptural movement of which he was part is usually referred to as “Shona sculpture” although some of its recognised members are not ethnically Shona. He worked initially at the Tengenenge Sculpture Community, 150 km north of Harare near Guruve, which he joined in 1967. In that Community, and ultimately in the wider world of lovers of Zimbabwean art, he was known simply as ‘Henry’.

William “Bill” Ainslie was a South African artist, teacher, activist, as well as and the founder of several art projects. Ainslie was born on 10 April 1934 in Bedford, Eastern Cape, where his family farmed a parcel of land called Spring Grove”. His family moved to the Karoo when he was a young boy but subsequently left for Johannesburg because of a drought. His father died when he was eight years old.
Ainslie had intended to become a priest, until art claimed his imagination when he was a student. He studied at the University of Natal, Pietermaritzburg from 1952-1955. In 1958, he completed his honours degree in Fine Art. On completion of his studies he taught at Michael house, a school in KwaZulu Natal. He also taught art at Cyrene Mission in Zimbabwe and King Edward VII School in Johannesburg, his alma mater In 1960, Bill married Sophia Jansen-Schottell (known as Fieka). He died in a car accident in August 1989 returning from an international workshop at the Cyrene Mission in Zimbabwe.Ainslie’s paintings transitioned from monumental African figures featuring mothers and children, and farm labourers to abstract expressionism. He was renowned for his use of striking and vibrant colours His painting found connections with American abstract expressionism and as a result, Ainslie tended to teach abstraction.

Yohanan Simon was a German-born, award-winning Israeli painter.
«Yohanan Simon was born in 1905 in Berlin. He attended the Max Beckmann Art School in Frankfurt and the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. Simon moved to Paris in 1927, where he attended the famed École des Beaux-Arts.In 1934 Simon moved to New York where he worked for Vogue Magazine and in 1936 he immigrated to Palestine where he was a member of Kibbutz Gan Shmuel up until 1953.Simon executed a number of murals for Israeli ships, public buildings and hotels, including Bank of Israel offices in New York and hotel on the Ivory Coast and illustrated books and designed stage-sets.He Participated in the Venice Biennale twice in the years 1948 and 1958 and in the Sao Paolo Bienale in 1953.Simon received the Dizengoff Prize for Painting and Sculpture four times in 1945, 1946, 1953 and 1961, in addition to the Ramat Gan Prize which he received in 1958 and the Histadrut Prize which he received in 1960.Yohanan Simon died in 1976.»

Koji Enokura ( 1942 – 1995) was a Japanese painter and installation artist.
He was one of the key members of Mono-ha, a group of artists who became prominent in the late 1960s and 1970s. The Mono-ha artists explored the encounter between natural and industrial materials, such as stone, steel plates, glass, light bulbs, cotton, sponge, paper, wood, wire, rope, leather, oil, and water, arranging them in mostly unaltered, ephemeral states. The works focus as much on the interdependency of these various elements and the surrounding space as on the materials themselves. From the beginning of the 1970s, Enokura stained paper, cloth, felt, and leather with oil and grease. He also discolored the floors and walls of galleries and outdoor spaces. These installations are no longer extant but are documented in photographs.
